Runners 1It was an exciting weekend for the Comsys ADF Power Athletes! Not only were they represented at the annual Stävie Trail race, but as all of Sweden eagerly watched the results of the Vasalöppet ski competition (mostly to make sure Norway didn't win), one of our Athletes watched the competition while racing on a spin bike for four hours!

We'd like to give a special congratulations to Albin who placed 60th out of 161 runners in the men's 13km race. Well done!

All this training is to get in tip-top shape leading up to the Team Rynkeby race from Sweden to Paris. Make sure to stay tuned and support our athletes on their journeys by following us on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

129 days.

That's how long Team Rynkeby has until they set off on their bike race to Paris. Started in 2002, Team Rynkeby is an international charity cycling race that raises money for children with cancer and their families. Spearheaded by Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Lars Brandtman, Comsys will be involved in many efforts to raise donations for Team Rynkeby Lund. But it's not all about cash. Brandtman has gathered a group of charitable and athletic enthusiasts from within Comsys who support each other in weekly training sessions and whom will compete together in several races leading up to Team Rynkeby in June. This weekend they start off with 13km through the forest of Stävie Trail

The SPS IPC Drives Fair 2016 is in full swing. In the midst of the action, we spoke to Comsys CEO, Marcus Löfgren, and asked him what he looks forward to showing to customers this year.

MarcusLöfgren explained, “The SPS Fair is a great meeting place in the middle of Europe, withvisitors from around the world.” He adds, “We enjoy getting the opportunity to interact directly with our end customers.” ADF Power Tuning solutions and support are available globally through the international network of partners. Logistics and purchasing often goes through Comsys’ well-selected partners, and together they form the international ADF Community.

Löfgren shares, “I believe in simplicity.” Not only does he want to make operations seamless for ADF partners, but he urges, “We need to make active filters simpler for customers.” That of course is reflected in the new product line customers can see and experience at the SPS IPC Drives Fair. A key example is the invention of what Comsys calls Sensorless Control, a method that completely removes the need for CTs (current transformers) in low harmonic solutions.the reasons we participate in the SPS Fair is so partners can use the booth for their own customers.” This approach is indicative of a larger concept that Marcus believes in. And what concept is that? Simplicity.

With one week left until the annual SPS IPC Drives Fair, we sat down with Key Account Manager Henrik Sjökvist to find out what he's looking forward to this year.

As the global gathering place for the drives business, Henrik shares "We usually meet a lot of customers and partners. We will meet new, interesting contacts. It’s extremely  important."

Customers and partners will get a chance to see Comsys' new developments and innovative solutions. When asked what he is most excited to share with visitors, Henrik says the system integration capabilties (ADF Power Tuning's modular concept). So what does this mean for visitors looking for a low harmonic drive (LHD)? Henrik answers:

"It opens up a lot of opportunities. It's not just a box you put in a corner, but is something you can integrate into your own product or your existing switch gear room - it's a completely different level of flexibility compared to what else is available on the market. This simplifies things for our customers."

Find out how system integration can simplify your operation. Visit us at Hall 1, Stand 338 between Nov. 22-24 in Nuremberg.
